Brian "The Dreamer" Weaver, Art
Brian Weaver was born in Panama, Central America, and later earned a degree in Graphic Design and Computer Animation from the School of Communication Arts in North Carolina. In 2013, he relocated to Cape Coral, Florida, where he quickly became a driving force in the local arts community.
That same year, he founded the monthly All Walks of Art festival at the Dolphin Key Resort, which rapidly expanded into a city-wide art walk that closed down 47th Terrace and became a cultural fixture in Cape Coral.
In 2014, the Fort Myers River District Alliance commissioned Brian to create Mystery Walk, a six-month immersive art experience that reimagined the traditional art walk through large-scale installations, optical illusions, and emerging contemporary art forms, transforming the Fort Myers River District into an interactive visual environment.
He also launched The Epicenter, converting an empty warehouse into a collaborative artist hub. Its most notable event, Battle of the Arts, has since evolved into the Southwest Florida Mural Festival, now entering its fourth year in 2025. Through this festival, Brian and his team are actively working to establish Southwest Florida’s first dedicated art district in downtown Fort Myers, bringing together large-scale murals and some of the region’s most accomplished muralists to build a lasting cultural destination.
Brian is a professional street artist whose murals span Southwest Florida and extend from the West Coast to the East Coast of the United States. His work has been exhibited at the Sidney & Berne Davis Art Center, the Cape Coral Art Center, and the Alliance for the Arts.
Committed to community outreach, Brian recently led a year-long art program through Family Initiative, working with middle and high school students on the autism spectrum to foster creative expression and confidence through structured artistic development.
Today, he co-owns Artsemble Underground with fellow artist Cesar Aguilara, where they continue to host major events that connect artists, support nonprofits, and strengthen the regional arts culture. Artsemble Underground was honored by Gulfshore Life with a cover feature and four-page spread, naming them 2021 “Masters of Street Art.”
Brian continues to shape the cultural landscape of Southwest Florida through large-scale public art, immersive programming, and community-driven initiatives.
